In the mid-70s the G.A.T., that is the Gruppo Amatori Tamburello, was formed, which took charge of managing the local Tambass team and the youth activities related to it.
At the beginning of the 90s, the G.A.T. it became the “Associazione degli Amici di Rocca”, which from then on took care of carrying on the drumming tradition and carrying out the events linked to the patronal celebrations of S. Genesio.
In the course of thirty years of activity, in order to adapt to the changing needs of the community, the Association has joined various initiatives related to the territory, collaborating with the Municipality and with other groups engaged in the enhancement of local resources.
In the current location, located in the sports complex at the end of Piazza Castello, the Amici also organize themed dinners and lunches, such as the Bagna Cauda dei Santi and the Easter Monday barbecue.
